Greetings,
Last weekend Lamia Antitheus pulled of an amazing show in the northen city Östersund in Sweden.
The show got some local attention and ended up in the newspaper.

For all of you English-speaking immortals I took the freedom to translate the whole thing.

It's not often that Östersund gets blessed with a Symphonic vampiremetal-show. But tonight Lamia Antitheus from Stockholm is performing at Tingshuset.
Jonas Martinsson arranges the show in Tingshuset together with Musikforum.
- This kind of metal isn't so well represented amongst the bands in Östersund eventho I know many listen to them. I think its fun to arrange a show and give something to all of them, Jonas says.
Lamia Antitheus plays symphonic vampiremetal, the style are unusual and the band has a big passion for the theme.
- Their lyrics are smart and intricate with connections to vampires and Dracula. They sound a little bit like a mix of Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth, Jonas says.
The show will also present the blackmetal band Denicalis from Brunflo.
- It's a bunch of guys that attends 9th grade in Kastellskolan(school name) which I also has shared rehearsal with. They are awesome and got really great reviews when they attended Storsjöyran(local festival) last summer, Jonas says.
Jonas thinks that blackmetal is on the way to grow in Östersund even tho most of the bands still plays death metal.
- I think that there is a desire for this kind of music that didn't exist before. It grows underneath, I've noticed that the younger ages listens more to this kind of music than people did before, I don't understand why not more bands plays blackmetal here, he says.
The doors will open 19:00 @ Tingshuset.
