MUSIC BIOGRAPHY
It all started with piano playing in my early age. Ever since i was a kid i’ve always been extreamly intrested in music and when my mom sat down to play on the piano i always danced around and stuff ( like stupid kids do.)
When i was 7 years old my mom took me to the music school where i was expected to choose an instrument that i wanted to learn how to play. As i’ve always been intressted in piano i took it as my first choise, well i had to admit that i took it to make my mom happy me myself wanted to play drums the most but that got to be the secound choise. Anyway in the summer when i was about to turn 10 the phone rang and it was the music school who had accepted my request about playing piano. So when the school started i was expected down the corridor to learn how to play piano. I can still remember the nervousity of entering the piano room. But i think my first lesson went really well and i was happy to learn some. The years passed and i think in some way i grew away fom the music at some levels, i thought it was much more fun litening to iron maiden with friends than sitting and practising infront of some piano. So at the age of 13 i stopped taking my lessons and stopped everything that had with music to do. Some years later i went to a friends house and i discoverd that he had bought and electric-guitar. And suddenly i died to have one myself. So when the date of my birthday arrived i got a guitar and started to play. But since i had only played piano before i got boared of my bad guitar play quite fast and the intresst died once again. Later on same year i heard a song that i got really intressted in and just by and accident i hapend to have my old toy-synthesizer right beside me. So i picked it up and started to play the song over and over again, and one thing led to another and i took my cheep mic and recorded the song. Some months later i got really into symphonic metal (like Dimmu Borgir, Cradle Of Filth and Anorexia nervousa) and since they used synth nin their songs i learned a few and played along. When i was about to turn 14 years old i got the idea of a friend to make some lyrics for a song, and even tho the simple english that i knew at that time i got really satisfied with them and decided to make alittle song for it. That song got the name ”Rise” and i kind of started up my own little 1-man band called Dark MasaQues. So from that moment i started to write my own music. The Recordings where all crappy but it didnt really bother me since i wasnt that serious about it. The time went on and i began i started at highschool. There i met Joel (Isoul@Lamia-Antitheus.com) and we started to talk about recordings and music since we liked atleast abit of the same music. He took some recording stuff over to my place and we recorded Rise. Linus (Letheus@Lamia-Antitheus.com) where also present at that time. After the recordin g we decided to start a band Lamia Antitheus(Vampire Devil @ Latin) and i kept on making songs. But due that time that i was all alone i still wanted to make music even if Joel and Linus wasnt present, so i made a couple of instrumental tracks and when Joel came here one night i wrote Kingdom and we recorded it with my crappy Casio LK-50 synth. After Kingdom i kept on making instrumental tracks that wasn’t a part of Lamia Antitheus. I got the job of Evokian Studios to make a soundtrack for the game they where making. And from that i wrote ”My Loving Dreamworld”. Ever since that i’ve kept on making movie/symphonic music and the journey has just begun…! |
